In a dazzling night filled with anticipation and applause, Jamshedpur’s very own Ashima Kumar claimed the crown of Mrs Jharkhand 2025 — a victory that’s already sparking conversations across the state. Hosted at the elegant Hotel Ramada in Ranchi and organised by Icebreaker Ocean Vision, the event brought together 60 remarkable contestants from different corners of Jharkhand. Each round pushed them to showcase something more than appearances — from mental sharpness and stage charisma to cultural pride and personality depth. Ashima, a resident of Smriti Building on K Road in Bistupur, stood out for her effortless poise, thoughtful communication, and a grace that resonated with the judges. Ranchi’s Apoorva took the runner-up position, while Mahi secured third place in the Mrs category.
And the excitement didn’t end there. The Miss Jharkhand segment crowned Archi Pahwa from Jamshedpur as its winner, with Ranchi’s Riha Malini in second and Lohardaga’s Ranjita Ekka in third.
The contest unfolded in three distinct phases. In the opening introduction round, participants stepped into the spotlight to present their personal stories with confidence. Next came the traditional round, where vibrant ethnic attire from Jharkhand took centre stage during captivating catwalks. Then, in the decisive question-and-answer finale, six finalists were challenged to think on their feet, delivering sharp yet heartfelt responses under pressure.
An impressive judging panel added prestige to the evening, featuring Mrs World 2023 Sargam Kaushal, Dr. Saroj Rai, and Dr. Rahul Sharma. Among the esteemed chief guests were Kaushal Kishore from Click Advertising, Rajendra Kumar Rai, and Praveen Sinha, Director of Icebreaker Ocean Vision Pvt. Ltd.
Radiating pride in her post-win statement, Ashima Kumar said the platform gave her an opportunity to represent Jharkhand’s women with authenticity and strength.
